full time Flyerer for Edinburgh Comedy Award winner

at Plosive Productions (Anywhere)

Plosive Productions is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and friendly street team member to flyer for one of its three comedy shows at this year's Edinburgh Fringe: 'Adam Riches Is The Guy Who…'

Adam Riches is 'quite simply one of the best character comedians in the country' according to Chortle and 'beer-spittingly funny' says the Telegraph. He's an Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner, has starred in BBC's 'Detectorists' and has appeared on '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' twice as Sean Bean.

'Adam Riches Is The Guy Who…' is an intimate, site-specific comedy experience. Not on a stage with raked seats and a lighting rig. But in a cafe, in amongst the audience, on his one-man quest to be perpetually woke.

This flyering role is ideal for an outgoing, comedy-loving individual who wants to be fully immersed in the festival environment and is able to talk passionately about Adam's show to the Fringe-going public. Initially we're looking for 2 hours of flyering per day, from approx 12pm-2pm, so could well suit a performer in their own Fringe show looking for extra work the festival.

Previous flyering or Edinburgh Fringe experience is preferred though not essential, but a passion for comedy, excellent communication skills and a sociable personality are musts.

To apply, please email a cover letter and CV to jobs@plosive.co.uk. Closing date is 6pm on Friday July 6.
