Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit a Cash Team Leaders to join our Finance team.


Salary: £8.48 per hour

Hours: Full-Time

Annual Leave: Paid holiday will be given for hours worked at 15.55%. This will be paid out in January, April, July and September.

Contract: Fixed Term



The Role:

The Festival Cash Team Leader will lead a team of up to 2 Cash Room Assistants, supervising preparation of cash floats throughout the shift as well as ensuring relevant procedures are followed for safe checks. They will be responsible for managing flow of work as well as all till declarations and safe checks for their team throughout their shift.

The Festival Cash Team Leader will lead the Cash Room Assistants on each shift during our busiest trading period of the year. The ability to communicate to both Commercial and Finance teams is a vital part of this role as is working in a fast paced environment.

The Festival Cash Team Leader will be required to work throughout the Festival period adopting a flexible approach to working patterns as some shifts begin early in the morning and some shifts finish late at night.



The Person:

An enthusiastic, confident and competent Cash Team Leader with demonstrable experience of leading cash processing teams to a high standard with excellent levels of customer service. Demonstrable relevant experience of cash handling and dealing with money-counting standards and security ideally in the Hospitality trade.



A person with very high expectations of themselves and others, with a passion for great service, who takes pride in their work and that of their team, and who has the ability to maintain delivery at a consistently high standard.
