full time Street Team

at Berk's Nest (Anywhere)

Berk's Nest is a live comedy production company, behind shows like Rose Matafeo's Horndog (Best Show Winner, 2018), Richard Gadd's Monkey See Monkey Do (Best Show Winner, 2016), and tonnes of other exciting shows from the likes of Kieran Hodgson, Tessa Coates, Olga Koch, and Emma Sidi. This year we're producing another roster of hilarious and innovative shows from a bunch of exciting comics - and we're looking for a team who can help make these shows happen.

The lifeblood of our Fringe, the Street Team spread the word about Berk's Nest shows by flyering for them. We value the people we work with, treat them well and pay them fairly, and make sure everyone has a brilliant time - a number of our team from last year's Fringe are returning this year.

Role details:
Responsible to: Street Team Manager
Pay: £9/hour, paid weekly in arrears (i.e. every Monday during the festival, you'll be paid for your work during the previous Mon-Sun week)
Dates: July 31st - August 25th (with kick-off drinks evening of July 30th), with one guaranteed day off during the month.
Hours: Flexible - we guarantee a minimum of 4 hrs/day and a maximum of 8 hrs/day. Rotas are provided by the Street Team Manager two days in advance (earlier if we can manage it) & we try not to make changes to them unless we absolutely have to. We'll always try our best to work around your availability and the shows you want to see across the festival - we have no problem with team members swapping shifts (as long as you tell us!).
Benefits: Venue passes for Pleasance & Assembly, tickets to shows, merchandise & anything else we can get our hands on.

Please note that we unfortunately cannot provide accommodation for the duration of the Fringe, but will do our very best to help you find somewhere if needed.
