Hey :)

I am currently looking for work during the Fringe period. I am hard working, very willing and sociable. I am looking to make some money while enjoying the atmosphere and buzz of the festival!

I have waitressed for years and I have worked in bars so I have completed my drinkwise training. I also feel suited to PR /leafleting work as I am very approachable and chatty. I have previously worked for the National Trust and Glenfiddich Distillery so feel adept at dealing with different people and I am used to the tourist trade.

I am a student at the University of Dundee studying a Master of Arts with Joint Honours in English and History. I have also recently been taking Spanish classes.

Show description: This exciting re-telling of three traditional Argentinian stories looks set to capture imaginations at Fringe 2010. Incorporating sound, projection and a bold site-specific design, this interactive installation takes the audience on a journey through horror, drama and comedy – where sensations become the main characters. The show will be running for 22 days.

Job Details:
-Set up four projectors to be control from laptop.
-Each member of the audience will be given their own headphones on arrival. Make the projection and the audio work together.

Personal specification:
-The ability to solve problems confidently, calmly and efficiently.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, reliable and friendly.
Applicants should have some relevant experience of audio visual work in theatre and live performance.

Lived in Edinburgh for 13/14years, know the city very well and been to festival events every year since I have been here.

I’m looking for a job just so I’ll have enough to live in Edinburgh or accommodation as pay, just want to soak up the festival!

I’ve lots of waitressing experience and experience working in bars. All year long I’ve flyered for clubs in Dublin. I’ve also worked at festivals before and at events.

I’m very up to date with comedy, theatre and music of most genres.

I’m very confident in my people skills and I’ve heaps of initiative. I’m not happy when I’m not busy and am always trying to make myself useful.
